Galithor!

by Galithor on May 6th, 2010

Some of you may notice that since the first go round, Gali has trimmed the full goatee into a ‘Stache. He’s also unfortunately gone balding, but wears a hood to hide this fact.

He's after your woman.

Hide your women, Gali is in town.

Star Trek Online Demo

New to Star Trek Online? Considering making a purchase? We’re so sure you’ll love the game, we want to give you the chance to play it for free. Visit our demo page (coming soon) to learn how to create a Cryptic account and begin playing Star Trek Online.

I guess I don’t understand the Free Trial “Weekend” as opposed to the Online Demo. Aren’t they both free? Or do they only let you play the demo on the free trial weekend lol. I know, just making fun of it, I’m sure the demo is just a single player type game to introduce you to it and it’s not really ‘online’… just doesn’t make sense to me to have two separate trial/demo. Just make a damn 7 day trial like most other MMO’s but they probably can’t afford the added bandwidth. Maybe that’s it, their short on funds! ;)

Warhammer Online Producer’s Letter

by Shals on May 3rd, 2010

Warhammer Online released an April 2010 Producer’s Letter the other day. Original letter can be seen here. Here’s the first paragraph from the letter:

Hello all,

It’s been a very busy month, so busy the time has just flown by. These days, everyone around here is eating, breathing and sleeping 1.3.5. For that reason, in this particular newsletter, I’m going to focus on version 1.3.5 and some of the recent community activity. I know that many like to skip ahead to read teasers of the distant future but , for this letter, I want to focus on the present, because I think the excitement right now is really around the short term future and 1.3.5.

On a side note, get a load of these stein’s! They look nice but there is no way I’d pay that kind of cash for one.

Call of Duty Black Ops Trailer

by Shals on May 3rd, 2010

From IGN: Goooooood morning, Vietnam! Journey to America’s most controversial war. There are plenty of clues in the trailer, but is it enough to piece together the story of Black Ops?

Avatar

by Shals on April 30th, 2010

Watched Avatar tonight, great movie. I definitely would have loved to see that one in the theater. Watched it on my 46″ LCD TV played from PS3 bluray so wasn’t a horrible viewing experience. Couple of things I wonder about (1) when is Avatar 2 coming out and (2) when will games achieve that graphical excellence?
